Secretary-General of the Economic Cooperation Organization, Dr. Asad Majeed Khan, begins a significant three-day official visit to Pakistan today, aiming to enhance regional collaboration and development.

Dr. Khan’s itinerary includes meetings with Pakistan’s top leadership, such as the President, Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, and other federal ministers. The discussions are set to focus on eco’s initiatives and Dr. Khan’s reform agenda, which seeks to revitalize the organization and bolster its ties with member states, including Pakistan.

After his engagements in Islamabad, Dr. Khan will proceed to Lahore. There, he will participate in the 294th meeting of the ECO Council of Permanent Representatives, alongside permanent representatives of ECO member states from the 12th to the 15th of this month.
