Karachi’s diplomatic and business elite gathered to reaffirm their commitment to strengthening ties between Pakistan and Sri Lanka during a high-profile luncheon honoring the newly appointed Consul General of Sri Lanka, Sanjeewa Pattiwila.

The distinguished gathering, held at the Shalimar Hall in Gymkhana, was jointly organized by KHA Business and International Relations and the Consumers Association of Pakistan (CAP), according to a statement issued today. Key hosts of the reception included Mr. Kaukab Iqbal, Chairman of the Consumers Association of Pakistan; Mr. Kafeel Hussain, who serves as Chairman of KHA Business and International Relations and Chairman of Diplomatic Affairs CAP; and Mr. Abdul Salam Dadabhoy, the Senior Vice Chairman of CAP.

Mr. Irfan Soomro, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended as the Chief Guest. He praised the initiative, highlighting the importance of such diplomatic engagements in promoting inter-country relations and fostering global cooperation.
