Development schemes launched this year to be completed this year, Sindh CM

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah chaired a review meeting of the Annual Development Program (ADP) 2025-26 and emphasized that the schemes of the district ADP which are started this year should also be completed this year. Provincial Ministers Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Saeed Ghani, Chief Secretary Sohail Rajput, Chairman P and D Hassan Naqvi, and other important government officials attended the meeting.

A significant portion of the ADP, Rs55 billion, has been allocated for the district ADP. The Chief Minister directed that projects initiated this year be finalized within the same fiscal year, while a maximum extension of two years be allowed for selected ongoing schemes.

Minister Nasir Hussain Shah was directed to expedite the approval process for new district ADP schemes. Of the allocated Rs55 billion, 80% is earmarked for ongoing schemes and 20% for new schemes. Funds for new projects will be released in four installments. CM Shah emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards for all district ADP projects. He said that the provincial administration is committed to regional development through these strategic investments.
