Deputy Chairman Senate, Syedaal Khan, has reaffirmed Pakistan’s deep appreciation and unwavering commitment to its strategic partnership with China, stating that the bilateral ties continue to grow stronger with time.
He is currently leading a highlevel parliamentary delegation on an official visit to the People’s Republic of China, aimed at reinforcing the enduring friendship between the two nations and exploring new opportunities for bilateral collaboration.
During his visit, the Deputy Chairman gave an exclusive interview to a Chinese television channel, where he underscored the historic significance and deeprooted trust that define PakistanChina relations, according to a statement issued by the Senate Secretariat here on Tuesday.
Describing the two countries as ‘Iron Brothers,’ he emphasized their consistent support for each other on all major international platforms. Syedaal Khan highlighted that the people and leadership of both countries share a profound bond of respect, brotherhood, and mutual cooperation.
He particularly stressed the importance of enhancing parliamentary, diplomatic, and peopletopeople exchanges to further solidify the relationship. The Deputy Chairman also expressed gratitude for China’s steadfast support during Pakistan’s times of need, including natural disasters and periods of regional tension.
He commended China’s solidarity, especially during times of earthquakes, floods, and heightened tensions with India. Moreover, Syedaal Khan praised China’s pivotal contribution to Pakistan’s economic growth, notably through the ChinaPakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
He noted that the project is set to boost trade and investment, not just between Pakistan and China, but across the wider region, including Central Asia.
