QUETTA: Allama Maqsood Ali Domki, central leader of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan, has said that Israel was a terrorist state, adding Israel had massacred innocent citizens and children by bombing hospitals, schools and public places in Gaza.
These views were expressed by him while addressing a demonstration held outside Quetta Press Club during pictorial exhibition arranged under the aegis of “Palestinian Foundation Pakistan” to express solidarity with the people of Palestine on Sunday.
Demanding to account for the rulers of USA and Israel in the International Court of Justice over massacring innocent people in Gaza, he said that a protest demonstration of children would be held outside the office of UNICEF, Quetta on December 02, 2023. Addressing the demonstration, Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani, central leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N) said, “Religious scholars ought to issue the fatwa (edict) of Jahad (holy war) against the ongoing repression and cruelty of Israel in Palestine”, adding, “Muslim umma should demonstrate unity for extending help to Palestinians by shunning their differences”.
Speaking on the occasion, Director General, Khana-e-Farhung Iran, Quetta, Syed Ab-ul-Hassan Meri said that people of Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan were with the oppressed Palestinian brethren, adding, “God willing, Palestine will soon be freed”.
Protest demonstration was also addressed by central leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Mufti Sunzar Saeed, provincial leader of Jamiat Ghurabae Ahle Hadees, Moulana Fazal Rabi, noted intellectual and columnist and leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Professor (Retd) Amanullah Shadizai, former Advisor to Chief Minister Balochistan and Chairman, Green Pakistan Party, Abdul Hadi Advocate, provincial leader of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan, Allama Sheikh Wilayat Hussain Jaffery, Allama Sohail Akbar Sherazi, Divisional President, Imamia Students Federation, Muhammad Zahir Hazara, Professor University of Balochistan, Quetta, Dr. Mustafa, Syed Ibrahim Shah Agha, Muhammad Raza, Moulana Nur Hussain and others.
A large number of men, women, children, workers of different religious, political parties and representatives of civil society attended the pictorial exhibit. In the pictorial exhibition, national flag of Israel was also burnt.
