Demo held against illegal Afghanis deportation

HARNAI: Forcible deportation of Afghan refugees from Pakistan was not acceptable at any cost. It was stated by speakers while addressing a protest demonstration held under the auspices of Awami National Party, National Democratic Movement, Pushtun Tahafuz Movement and Pushtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (Khushal) in Harnai city of Balochistan province on Sunday against inhuman treatment with Afghan citizens, implementation of “one document regime” for travelling between Pakistan and Afghanistan, Israeli barbarism and deteriorating law and order.

Addressing the protest demonstration, speakers said that implementation of “one document regime” for the people of Chaman to travel between Pakistan and Afghanistan was not at all acceptable, adding that forcible deportation of Afghan citizen was not acceptable.

They said, “We are standing shoulder to shoulder with Afghan brothers”. Speakers demanded of the authorities to restore train service between Harnai to Shahrug and expedite construction work of Harnai to Quetta highway. Protest demonstration was addressed Central Secretary General, National Democratic Movement, Muzamil Shah, provincial General Secretary, Awami National Party, Balochistan, Mabat Kaka, district President, Awami National Party, Harnai, Wali Dad Miani, provincial leader of Pushtoon Tahafuz Movement, Para Din and central leader of Pushtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (Khushal) and others.
