The Pakistan Army delivered a powerful retaliatory strike against Afghan Taliban and Khwarij militants following unprovoked firing in the Kurram district, inflicting substantial casualties and destroying key military assets, according to security sources.

The decisive counter-offensive was launched in immediate reaction to hostile fire originating from across the Pak-Afghan border, according to official information today. Security sources confirmed that the retaliatory action resulted in severe damage to the aggressors’ positions. Reports indicate that several Taliban posts were engulfed in flames following the engagement.

In a significant blow to the militants, a Taliban tank was also obliterated during the operation. The intensity of the Pakistani response compelled the assailants to abandon their posts and flee the area.
