Defeating the Consciousness of Sindh is Not Within PPP’s Capability: Malhi

Former PTI MNA and the joint candidate of GDA and Sindh River Protection Movement in the NA 213 Umerkot by-election, Lal Chand Malhi, has stated that all opposition parties have decided that they must work together for the restoration of democracy, the constitution, and human rights in the country.

During a conversation in Kunri, Malhi said that the people will settle the score for the injustices committed against them through anti-PPP votes. He claimed that defeating the consciousness of Sindh is no longer within the capabilities of the Pakistan Peoples Party.

PTI leader termed the three visits of the Chief Minister of Sindh to the constituency as an attempt to influence the election and a blatant violation of the code of conduct, and he requested the Election Commission to take notice. He stated that our voters are being intimidated through the police, but these tactics will no longer succeed.

Malhi further said that every child in Sindh is on the streets against the canals, and such awareness has never been seen in Sindh before. He alleged that the act of snatching lands from the poor and helpless people of Thar for corporate farming is a move by the PPP government and that this project should be immediately halted.

He said that the Pakistan Peoples Party has lost public support, and defeat in the Umerkot by-election is their fate. The sun of April 17 will rise with the news of victory for the joint opposition candidate.
