Dawoodi Bohra Community launches nationwide tree planting campaign, inaugurated by Mayor Karachi

The Dawoodi Bohra Community in Pakistan launched a tree planting campaign titled “Plant a Tree Save the Earth” on Old Queens Road on June 24. This environmentally friendly project aims to increase green spaces across the country, including Karachi.

Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab inaugurated the program by planting a sapling. Dawoodi Bohra Community dignitaries were present on the occasion, as well as UC 8 Chairman and TMC leader Muhammad Salman Khan, who emphasized the importance of such efforts for environmental improvement and encouraged public participation.

After the tree planting, the Mayor visited and inaugurated the newly constructed tennis court at Al Nadi Al Burhani Sports Complex and Fitness Gym.

The event was attended by several representatives and members of the Dawoodi Bohra Community, local residents, and individuals from various walks of life. The participants emphasized the importance of tree planting and appreciated the initiative.
