KARACHI: Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE) and Dawood University of Engineering and Technology (DUET) Karachi has jointly launched an online program for eCom BRI Business Entrepreneurship.
According to a statement issued on Thursday, the eCom BRI, Business Entrepreneurship program consists of three modules, including Chinese Language, Chinese Culture and Chinese Business, designed by the faculty of HCVTC Hunan, China to provide desired communication and business skills required to deal Chinese businesses.
The program is a perfect example of academia-industry linkages where during study each student will be provided entrepreneurship based physical training by setting up an incubation centre with online free access to 50 Chinese businesses to interact and develop business relations by the consortium of eCommerce Gateway and Educast. After completion of training each trainee will become freelance sales and marketing personal.
The program is designed in view of the increasing influence of Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) by China over the global trade and economy, where the need of Chinese companies is increasing day by day to have more and more IT trained English speaking workforce to act as a Back Bone for their online sales and cross-border eCommerce Operations within upcoming 152 countries in BRI network for marketing of Chinese products and services.
