The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan released the latest currency exchange rates on Monday indicating minor fluctuations in major foreign currencies, while interbank rates exhibited stability.
According to the association, the US dollar was being traded at a buying rate of 283.01 and a selling rate of 284.29. The euro witnessed a buying rate of 322.14 and a selling rate of 324.99. The British pound recorded a buying rate of 383.62 and a selling rate of 387.01.
In the Asian currency market, the Japanese yen was listed at a buying rate of 1.94 and a selling rate of 1.99. The UAE dirham and Saudi riyal were reported at buying rates of 77.14 and 75.45, respectively, with selling rates of 77.55 and 75.85.
The association emphasized that the interbank rates remained consistent, with the US dollar maintaining a narrow margin, trading between 282.05 and 282.25.
