Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb outlined a strategic vision for the nation”s economy, emphasizing the importance of exportled growth in the upcoming budget.

During an event in Islamabad on Monday, he said that the budget would transcend traditional revenue and expenditure outlines to provide a comprehensive strategic direction.

Aurangzeb underscored the significance of the budget document, stating their commitment to making it more strategic this year. He expressed satisfaction with the economy”s milestone of surpassing the four hundred billion dollar mark, signaling recognition from the international community of Pakistan”s economic turnaround and macroeconomic stability.

He pointed out the government”s dedication to ongoing structural reforms in taxation, energy, StateOwned Enterprises (SOEs), and federal government rightsizing. Aurangzeb mentioned that the privatization of SOEs would be expedited to ensure sustainable growth.
