KARACHI: The Karachi police on Thursday claimed to have arrested three accused involved in drug trafficking.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sarfaraz Nawaz, the accused were arrested within the limits of Chakiwara police station and Nabi Bakhsh area of the metropolitan. The arrested accused have been identified as Gull Hamid, Meharullah, and Adil Soomro. The police recovered 76 grams of ice and 150 grams of hashish from the arrested accused.

The accused were arrested while the accused were supplying drugs in Chakiwara and Nabibakhsh area. The police said that FIR No. 325/2021 against accused Gul Hamid registered under Section 6 / 9C at Chakiwara Police Station. FIR No. 326/2021 against accused Mehrullah registered under Section 6 / 9B of Chakiwara Police Station while, FIR No. 214/2021 against accused Adil Soomro registered under Section 6 / 9B in Nabibakhsh Police Station.
