China’s Foreign Minister (FM) Wang Yi met with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, in Islamabad on Friday, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The two leaders discussed regional security, counter-terrorism efforts, and other shared concerns. They emphasized strengthening their nations’ strategic cooperative alliance and increasing collaboration on global and regional platforms.
Minister Wang reiterated Beijing’s unwavering backing for Islamabad’s territorial integrity and advancement. General Munir expressed appreciation for China’s enduring assistance.
The conference concluded with both parties pledging to promote harmony, security, and economic growth within the region.
