The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) today pledged to collaborate on initiatives aimed at reducing poverty and promoting economic empowerment in Islamabad.

CDA Chairman and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa and PPAF CEO Nadir Gul Barech met at CDA headquarters to discuss joint projects focused on developing underprivileged areas, fostering skill development, and boosting employment opportunities.

CDA board members, including Member Administration and Estate Talat Mehmood, Member Finance Tahir Naeem, Member Planning Dr. Khalid Hafiz, and Member Environment Esfandyar Baloch, were also present. The CDA chairman stressed the importance of sustainable urban growth and social welfare for the city”s overall prosperity, affirming the authority’s commitment to improving residents” lives.

Barech commended the CDA”s efforts under Randhawa”s leadership and expressed confidence in the collaborative endeavor. He pledged PPAF”s full cooperation in achieving shared objectives.

The organizations agreed to strengthen coordination to implement practical poverty reduction projects. They aim to uplift marginalized communities and enhance their economic prospects, working towards a more prosperous and equitable Islamabad.
