QUETTA: Muhammad Younas, a retired employee of Building and Road Department, Mastung, has called on authorities to conduct investigation into the murder case of his son through Crimes Branch Balochistan instead of the authorities of Police Station, Satellite Town, Quetta.

Talking to PPI on Wednesday outside Quetta Press Club after the protest demonstration he staged along with his relatives, demanding authorities to arrest the perpetrators involved in the murder case of his son, he said that his son namely Saeed Ahmed, who was drug addict, was murdered on February 24, 2022 at South City Drug and Rehabilitation Centre, Satellite Town, Quetta.

He added that F. I.R of the incident was lodged at Satellite Town Police Station, Quetta, but the authorities of the said police station deliberately did not include the name of main alleged accused namely Burhan, who was the owner of South City Drug and Rehabilitation Centre, Satellite Town, Quetta, in the F.I.R. He called on Inspector General of Police, Balochistan, Mohsin Hassan Butt to get the murder case of his son investigated through Crimes Branch Balochistan instead of the authorities of Satellite Town Police Station, Quetta.

Earlier, a protest demonstration was held outside Quetta Press Club, demanding authorities to arrest the alleged perpetrators involved in the murder of Saeed Ahmed, who was killed during treatment at South City Drug and Rehabilitation Centre, Satellite Town, Quetta.
