Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the loss of lives and damage to property caused by torrential rains in various areas of Islamabad and Punjab.
In a statement today, Chairman PPP extended heartfelt condolences to families in Punjab who lost loved ones due to rain-related incidents. He also conveyed solidarity with those experiencing damage to their homes and properties.
Bilawal called on the Punjab government and relevant authorities to deploy all available resources for equitable and effective relief in affected areas. He emphasized the urgency for a comprehensive strategy to compensate citizens for losses from the downpour, including immediate restoration of electricity and swift drainage of water from low-lying regions.
He highlighted that Pakistan faces increasingly unpredictable and extreme weather patterns due to climate change. Directing PPP Punjab office-bearers and workers, Chairman Bilawal urged all party members to actively participate in ongoing relief efforts.
