KARACHI: Bandits looted Rs2 million from a bank in Karachi on Thursday.

According to police, a gang of bandits entered a bank within the jurisdiction of Shahrah-e-Noor Jehan police station, held security guards and staff hostage at gunpoint, collected cash.

They fled to unknown destination with booty after swift operation. The bandits also took away guards’ weapons. A police team rushed to the scene after information and started investigation into the dacoity. Shahrah-e-Noor Jehan police have registered an FIR of the dacoity and launched search for the bandits.
