Attack on Qawwals in Kalat a Cowardly Act Against Innocent People: HRCP

The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) strongly condemned the deadly armed attack on a group of musicians near Kalat. The artists were traveling from Karachi to Quetta to attend a wedding when the attack occurred. Initial reports indicate that three qawwals were killed on the spot, while 13 others were injured.

The HRCP called the violence a cowardly and indiscriminate act against innocent people, emphasizing the cultural significance of the artists. They termed such aggression an attack on the heritage of society.
