Army, PDMA rescue nine men stranded in flood water in Turbat

TURBAT: Nine men stranded in flood water were rescued by Pakistan Army and PDMA in a joint operation conducted in Turbat area on Saturday.

Following the directions of Caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki, jawans of Pak-Army and staff of Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) rescued nine men stranded in flood water in a joint operation conducted in Mekran Division of the province.

The men stranded in the flood water for nine hours. PDMA said the operation to rescue people stranded in flood water in different areas of the province was being continuing.

CM Domki appreciated the staff of PDMA and personnel of Pak-Army who undertook the operation to rescue men stranded in flood water in Turbat.
