Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori has announced that Independence Day will be celebrated with national fervor and public participation from August 1st to 14th. He said this while meeting delegations of the All Pakistan Muttahida Students Organization (APMSO) and the medical aid committee of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) at Governor House.

Prominent MQM-P leaders Dr. Farooq Sattar and Anis Kaimkhani were also present at the meeting. Detailing the “Maraka-e-Haq, Jashn-e-Azadi” campaign, Tessori emphasized the need for social inclusion to ensure maximum public participation in the “Maraka-e-Haq” events.

The delegates congratulated the Governor on performing Hajj and presented him with floral tributes.
