Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan organized a dignified ceremony in honor of 27 Palestinian students from Gaza upon their completion of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree.

The ceremony was attended by Alkhidmat’s central president Professor Dr. Hafeez-ur-Rehman, Secretary General Syed Waqas Jafri, Dean of Al-Azhar University Gaza Dr. Muhammad Riaz Zaghoor, leader of Doctors of Rehman UK Dr. Yousuf Sheikh, Chairman Alkhidmat Health Dr. Zahid Latif, National Director Alkhidmat Education Dr. Ahmed Gibran, President Alkhidmat Europe Dr. Hamid Farooq, Principal of University of Lahore Dr. Mehwish, National Director IT Alkhidmat Dr. Saad Zafar, along with faculty members and prominent personalities from various fields.

In his address during the ceremony, Professor Dr. Hafeez-ur-Rehman stated that it is a matter of pride for the people of Pakistan to host Palestinian students from Gaza. Alkhidmat Foundation, in collaboration with partner welfare and educational institutions, is providing scholarships to 409 Palestinian students from Gaza in Turkey, Egypt, and Pakistan. These scholarships include education, accommodation, food, medical facilities, and a monthly cash award.

Professor Hafeez-ur-Rehman further mentioned that Alkhidmat has dispatched 3800 tons of relief goods for Gaza, a joint effort by the Pakistani nation, Alkhidmat, the federal government, and NDMA. Relief goods have been sent to Gaza through 20 special planes and 4 ships from Pakistan. Alkhidmat Foundation’s camp office in Cairo, Egypt, and funds are continuously supporting the children and affected families in Gaza.
