Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has ordered the immediate launch of the Air Punjab project. In a meeting chaired by the Chief Minister today, the progress on the Air Punjab project was reviewed.

And instructions were given for the swift completion of the first phase of the project. Maryam Nawaz Sharif emphasized the importance of acquiring modern and comfortable aircraft on lease. This step will provide the foundation for the airline’s initial operations, which includes a confirmed route between Lahore and Islamabad.

Besides Air Punjab, the Chief Minister also reviewed the Murree Glass Train project. The aim of this project is to improve tourist access to the beautiful hill station, which will further promote local tourism and economic activities.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif received a comprehensive briefing on both projects.
