KARACHI:Pakistan Kashmir League franchise Kotli Lions has appointed former Test cricketer and world-renowned all-rounder Abdul Razzaq as their head coach for a three-year term.
One of the most impressive all-rounder of Pakistan cricket, Razzaq played 256 ODIs, 46 Tests and 32 Twenty20 Internationals.
Abdul Razzaq said that it is an honor to be associated with Kotli Lions in the Kashmir Premier League. He added that he has a passion for cricket and is excited to be associated with new leagues and franchises.
He vowed that he will transfer his experience to cricketers through Kotli Lions and would find new cricket talent from Azad Kashmir especially from Kotli.
The first season of Kashmir Premier League will be held from August 6 to 16 in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir. Franchises for the league will select their teams from the drafts to be held in Islamabad on July 3.
