Punjab Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Electro Bus Project in Pakpattan, said that 20,000 kilometers of roads have been constructed in one year, and 90,000 houses are under construction.
The Chief Minister also shared details of the ambitious project named “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” (My Roof, My Home), which aims to provide affordable housing. The construction of 90,000 houses is expected within a span of seven to eight months, a significant effort to meet the housing needs of the population.
Sharif’s speech highlights the vision that development is not a privilege for a few but should be a shared reality for all residents of Punjab. This focus on infrastructure and housing is expected to pave the way for sustainable development in the region.
