QUETTA: Seven persons, including women and children, were injured in an explosion that occurred due to gas leakage in Mehmoodabad area of Pushtunabad in Balochistan province on Thursday.
According to rescue sources, seven persons sustained injuries due to gas explosion in Mehmoodabad area of Pushtunabad in Quetta. The injured were identified as Faizullah, Saadullah, Zainullah, Bibi Jan, Salma Bibi, Yasina and Amina.
Panic gripped the area soon after the incident. People rushed to scene and took part in rescue. The injured were shifted to the burns ward of Bolan Medical Complex Hospital Quetta for treatment.
