Prince Aga Khan’s birthday celebrated in Karachi

KARACHI:International Lawyers Forum (ILF) along with the civil society celebrated 85th Birthday of Hazir Imam of Ismaili community, Prince Karim Aga Khan, at YMCA.

According to a statement issued on Tuesday, just after the National Anthem of Pakistan, the audience observed one minute silence to pay the homage to Sri Lankan Manager Priyantha Kumara. In his inaugural speech, the ILF’s Chairman, Nasir Ahmed, Advocate strongly condemned the brutal murder of Sri Lankan citizen in Sialkot. He further stated that the global services of Prince Karim Aga Khan are exemplary and beacon light for others.

The Secretary of Shri Swami-narayan Trust, Anand Ram, Bishop of Pakistan, Sadiq Daniel, Allama Qasim Jarchwi, Allama Abdul Khaliq, Sardar Dhoni Singh, Taqdeer Ali Khan and many other religious scholars spoke to the participants while Salvation Army’s Captain Nasreen, dozens of social and human right activists and other personalities of different walks of life have also participated birthday ceremony.

Maharaj Mukesh Kumar along with other Sikh leaders participated in the occasion. Sikh participants keep continue the sloganeering in favor of Khalistan during the ceremony. Founder and Pioneer of Jamshed Foundation Int’l, Jamshed Ali Khowaja Advocate distributed the sweets and gifts among kids. Sardar Dhooni Singh cut the birthday cake while Rinkly Disuza and Angelica fulfilled comparing responsibilities.
