Karachi: Met office on Friday informed that continental air is prevailing over most plain areas of the country. A westerly wave is likely to enter western parts of the country on Saturday and likely to persist in upper parts of the country till Monday morning.

Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, smog/fog is likely to decrease in plain areas of Punjab during morning hours. While, light rain with winds is expected in Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar region and north east Punjab during evening/night.
