KARACHI:The meeting of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI)’s Standing Committee on Health Care and Medical Devices was held at Federation House.
President of FPCCI Nassser Hyatt Magoo and Chairman Standing Committee Masood Ahmed jointly presided the meeting. Most important issues of Health Care and Medical Devices and Diagnostic Industry were discussed.
Participants of meeting demanded that the government should immediately issue the SROs for exemption of Sales Tax and Income Tax on import of Medical Devices used for treatment and diagnostics of COVID19’s patients as well as import of Auto Disposable Syringes.
Participants of meeting have said that Regulation rules for Medical Devices and Diagnostic Industry should be amended for ease of work. Committee members demanded of Government to resolve the problems of Medical Devices and Diagnostic Industry and emphasized that delay to resolve the issues could worsen humanitarian crises and create hardships in treatment of Corona Patients.
