Karachi: Police and Rangers on Friday claimed to have arrested a gang allegedly involved in selling drugs to students in the University of University.

They said that in a joint raid carried out in in block 1 of Gulistan-e-Jauhar, eight suspects, including a woman, allegedly involved in supplying drugs to students in the university were detained.

A spokesman for Rangers said the arrested accused were involved in selling drugs to students and localities around the University of University. The drugs have been recovered from the suspects and had been handed over to the police for further legal action, he said.
