KARACHI: A large number of citizens on Sunday held a march in Karachi, pressing the provincial and federal governments to take actions for tackling climate change.

The march started from Nehr-e-Khayyam to Bilawal Chowk. Women, youngsters, children, and men participated in the demonstration. They demanded of the authorities to end water crisis in Karachi, ensure clean environment, reform SEPA and take actions to reduce climate change implications.

The protesters started marching towards the Bilawal Chowk but they were stopped by the police. After negotiations, the march has resumed. The leaders demanded of the governments to take solid actions to tackle climate change.
