KARACHI: Pakistan on Sunday reported two more deaths from Covid and 260 new pandemic cases in the last 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), the nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 28,872 so far. The data shows 13,058 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab, 7,649 in Sindh 5,907 in KP, 964 in Islamabad, 745 in Azad Kashmir, 363 in Balochistan, and 186 in GB so far.

Furthermore 479,090 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 444,164 in Punjab 180,976 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 108,259 in Islamabad, 34,640 in Azad Kashmir 33,551 in Balochistan and 10,428 in Gilgit-Baltistan. Pakistan has so far conducted 22,821,495 coronavirus tests and 42,640 in the last 24 hours. 1,252,647 patients have recovered in the country whereas 666 patients are in critical condition. The COVID-19 positivity ratio was recorded at 0.60 percent.
