KARACHI: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Thursday recovered 96 kilogrammes of drugs from Karachi seaport, which were being smuggled to Canada.

On tip-off, ANF team raided the city’s port and recovered 96 kilogrammes of drugs hidden in towels, said the anti-drug organization. An ANF spokesperson said the drugs were booked in the name of exporter Cargo IB Trader and were being smuggled to Ontario province in Canada. The ANF officials had started an investigation into the drugs recovery and said that accused would be brought to justice.
