PMSA saves five fishermen, their boat

QUETTA: Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) said on Monday that it saved five fishermen and their boat in the sea.

According to a statement issued by PMSA, during routine patrolling, PMSA’s Maritime Security Boat (MSB) received a distress call from a fishing boat namely “Al-ZAHID SHAH” (Reg No BFD-277) stranded at sea due to hull damage causing flooding.

PMSA’s boat immediately proceeded to the vessel in distress and reached at the position of the stranded boat along with requisite de-flooding pumps, towing arrangements, lifesaving and first-aid equipment. The fishing boat crew was given first-aid and food and was taken in tow by PMSA’s boat and safely brought to Surbander.
