ISLAMABAD:Foreign Office spokesperson Asim Iftikhar Ahmad has said Pakistan has always stood by its brothers and sisters in Afghanistan.

In a tweet posted on his social media account, he said the hosting of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Islamabad on Sunday to consider humanitarian situation in Afghanistan is continuation of Pakistan’s resolve to always stand by the Afghan brothers and sisters.

The spokesperson, in his tweet, also posted a video depicting Pakistan’s efforts to provide humanitarian assistance to the people of Afghanistan in this hour of need.
