QUETTA: Five persons, including a woman and children, sustained burn injuries in an explosion caused by leakage of gas at a house in Killi Manaf near Baleli customs area of Quetta city on Wednesday.
According to rescue sources, accumulated gas exploded in a house at Killi Manaf near Baleli customs area of Quetta, resultantly, five persons, including a woman and children, sustained burn injuries. The injured, identified as Dad Muhammad, 53, Benazir, 40, Gul Lalai, 10, Khalid,4 and Umer,1, were rushed to the Burn Ward of Bolan Medical Complex Hospital, Quetta for treatment.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner, Ziarat, Habib Nasar, has said that it was being strived to clear all the roads of Ziarat city affected by the recent snowfall. These views were expressed by him while talking to media, including PPI, here on Monday. Nasar said that di-icing salt was being sprayed on all the roads and highways of district Ziarat of Balochistan province so as to clear the roads and highways for travellers, adding that maximum facilities were being provided to the local residents of district Ziarat and tourists so that they might not confront hardships. He said that it was being strived to clear all the roads of Ziarat city affected by the recent snowfall.
