ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib has said the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has witnessed record tax collections of Rs2920-billion with 32 percent increase in the second quarter of the current financial.
In a tweet on Saturday, he said this collection is a reflection of increasing economic activities in the country. He said the FBR has collected additional Rs287-billion as the target was Rs2633- billion during the period. He said a collection of Rs600-billion has been made during the month of December only.
