QUETTA: Punjab Police claimed to have rescued a seven-year-old boy Muhammad Ahmed Mehboob from Chakwal who was abducted from Karachi.

According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, IG Punjab issued orders to RPO Rawalpindi to take immediate steps on the orders of Sindh High Court for recovery of the abducted orphan child.

Jhelum and Chakwal police teams took part in the search operation and recovered the boy from Chakwal. The police said that the abductors were close relatives of the child.
