Unidentified assailants killed a youth while a bus carrying Indian paramilitary personnel was stopped and set ablaze by a mob in violence-hit Manipur state.

According to a Kashmir Media Service report on Wednesday, the youth was gunned down in Imphal West district while the bus carrying ICentral Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel was torched in Kangpokpi district.

No one was injured in the bus incident, Indian police officials said. A police official said that the youth’s body was found in the Meijao Mamang Leikai area with a bullet wound on the back of the head. The police are investigation the incident.
