SAHIWAL: A youth was killed when a train hit him on railway track in a village in district Sahiwal on Saturday.

According to rescue sources, the accident happened in Harappa village near Sahiwal when a youth, Irfan, aged 23, hit and killed by a train on the railway track. The rescue team shifted the body to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities.

The incident has created a mourning atmosphere in the house of the victim. The police have started a probe into the incident. It is reported that the youth was talking selfie when hit by the train.
