LARKANA: A 20-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide at her home while shooting herself with a pistol over domestic issues in Kausar Mill area of Hyderi Police Station limits here on Tuesday.

She was rushed to the Chandka Medical College Hospital where doctors confirmed her death. Her relatives said that Iqra tried to commit suicide over domestic issues and was brought to the emergency Department of the hospital, but could not survive.

In another horrible incident, the body of 22-year Ihsan Ali Mirani was found hanging in a tree at Qali Bux Umrani village located within the limits of Areeja Phero police station. People, seeing the body, informed the relevant police and handed over the body to the heirs after necessary legal formalities.

Police initially claimed that the incident was a suicide, but they were investigating further and no further details were given. No case was registered till the filing of this report.
