BAHAWALPUR: The Department of Administrative Sciences and Executive Training Center, Institute of Business Management and Administrative Sciences, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized a workshop on Scale Development and Validation at Ghotvi Hall, Abbasia Campus. Engr Prof Dr Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor inaugurated the workshop and expressed his views that this workshop is unique in its nature and will facilitate a constant flow of knowledge and bring advancement in the measurement paradigm.
Prof Dr Jawad Iqbal, Dean Management Sciences, discussed the importance of research, methodology and the need for measurement in scientific research and encouraged the participants to work on scale development. As a resource person, Dr Shahid Mahmood, Chairman, Department of Administrative Sciences, explained the detailed process of conceptualization of new construction, development and validation of measurement scale. Faculty members of various departments, PhD/MS Scholars and researchers attended and appreciated the efforts of resource persons and organizers of the event.
