ISLAMABAD:Caretaker Minister of State for Tourism Wasi Shah has said the Ministry of Tourism for the convenience of the people has started work on the launch of “Tourism App” to provide one-click information about the tourist destinations in the country.

He said this app includes all the information regarding restaurants, hotels, transport, travel facilities, culture, entertainment and historical places.

He said it will be done and it will be ensured that the app is updated on a regular basis. He specifically said that through this app the tourists will be provided with all the information they need to know.

The Minister expressed these views while talking to journalists here on Wednesday. He said tourists visiting Pakistan will soon get an official application that will provide authentic information and access to the state tourism department.

He said it was a pleasure to see tourists from abroad in Taxila on the occasion of culture caravan. He said he is in the public sphere and is very grateful to the public and the media for his immense acceptance.

The Minister said that he is taking practical steps to promote tourism and make Pakistan a paradise for tourists.
