KOHLU: Chief of Marri tribe and former Minister, Nawab Changez Marri, has said that welfare of the Marri tribe has been prioritised, adding journey of development and durable peace was not possible without improving educational system and laying the foundation of higher educational institutions in district Kohlu.

These views were expressed by him while talking to media, including PPI, here on Friday. He said that it was inevitable to take along all the tribesmen of Marri tribe together, adding, “We will have to learn lesson from the past bitter experiences, observations and mistakes”.

He said Marri tribesmen faced difficult situation, adding that comprehensive policy was required for rehabilitation of Kahan. He said that if people reposed confidence in him, he would lay the network of development schemes in district Kohlu.
