The weather is expected to remain hot and dry in most parts of the country on Friday, with intense heat anticipated in the plains.

On Friday, partly cloudy skies with chances of thunderstorms and rain are expected in Islamabad and surrounding areas. There is also a possibility of heavy rain or hailstorms at some places.
In most districts of Punjab, the weather is expected to remain hot and dry. However, partly cloudy skies with chances of thunderstorms and rain are expected in Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, Lahore, and several other places.
In most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the weather is also expected to remain hot and dry, while rain is expected in Mansehra, Kohistan, Abbottabad, Haripur, and several other places.
In GilgitBaltistan, cloudy skies with chances of strong winds and thunderstorms are expected. Rain is also expected in Kashmir, with heavy rain or hailstorms possible at some places.
The maximum temperatures recorded on Thursday were 48 degrees Celsius in Mohenjodaro, Jacobabad, Shaheed Benazirabad, and Sibi, while D.G. Khan, Dadu, Larkana, and Turbat recorded 47 degrees Celsius.
