In an effort to ensure transparency and prevent cheating in the annual ninth and tenth-grade examinations, vigilance committees have been established at the district and tehsil levels in Khairpur.

This initiative is in response to directives from the Chief Secretary of Sindh and is led by Deputy Commissioner Khairpur, Fayaz Hussain Rahujo.

Deputy Commissioner Rahujo visited several educational institutions, including Government Boys High School, Government Girls High School, and Government Degree College for Girls and Boys in Pir Jo Goth. During these visits, he instructed exam center in-charges, appointed teachers, and officials that cheating would not be tolerated. He stressed that strict action under the Education Act would be taken against any involved officers and staff.

Assistant commissioners, mukhtiarkars, and educational officers will conduct daily visits to examination centers. They are tasked with taking action against those involved in malpractice or negligence.

The vigilance committees will be chaired by the assistant commissioner of the respective tehsil. Other members include the mukhtiarkar and tehsil education officers for primary and secondary education, both male and female.

The notification issued to committee members emphasizes the importance of maintaining transparency at examination centers, preventing cheating, not entertaining any recommendations, and submitting detailed daily reports to Deputy Commissioner Khairpur.
