ISLAMABAD: UNDP Resident Representative in Pakistan Mr Samuel Rizk, along with MS Liu-Win, Program Analyst of South -Cooperation, UNDP called on Ambassador (r) Farukh Amil, Chair IPO-Pakistan, here at the IPO-Pakistan Headquarters.

They reviewed various aspects of Intellectual property Rights (IPRs), including copyrights, patents and Geographic Indications (GIs), according to an official statement issued here on Monday.

It was noted that Intellectual Property was critical in protecting innovation, creative work, and unique products. They discussed their mutual interest in exploring collaboration between UNDP and IPO-Pakistan.

This could involve joint dialogue aimed at raising awareness about IPRs, Fostering innovation in Pakistan And as well as strengthening the inclusion agenda In Pakistan for the most vulnerable groups, including differently-abled persons.
