SHIKARPUR: Provincial Minister for Energy and Focal Person, Relief Committee, Larkana Division, Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh, visited two tent cities established in Shikarpur on Friday, reviewed the facilities provided in the tent city and met with the affected families.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Sheikh said that to continue the education of Shikarpur, they were establishing two tent cities in the entire district each consisting of one hundred tents at Shikarpur bypass in Kundan Residency and Benazir Basti following the instructions of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
He said seventy families have been shifted to Kundan Residency tent city from different schools and others will also be shifted soon so that the education process could be started. The minister said that two times food, water and medical camp facilities had been arranged at the test city for the families. Medical Camp incharge Dr Faizan said that most of the flood victims had complaints of dermatological ailments which were being treated with free medicines.
