GUJRAT:Two youngsters lost their lives after being struck by a passenger train in Gorala area of Gujrat on Thursday, witnesses and police said. Samiullah, 15, and Afnan, 18, were reportedly using their cell phones while walking on the railway track at the time of the incident.
Rescue 1122 officials pronounced the victims’ bodies and handed over the bodies to the police. The local police further handed over the bodies to the heirs after legal formalities. A mourning atmosphere prevailed in the victims houses.
