Two terrorists were killed during two separate exchanges of fire in North and South Waziristan districts.

According to the ISPR, two security personnel also embraced martyrdom.

The first engagement occurred in Asman Munza area of South Waziristan where the troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location as a result of which one terrorist was killed while one got injured. During intense exchange of fire, one soldier also embraced martyrdom.

In another intense fire exchange in Miran Shah area of North Waziristan, one terrorist was killed while one soldier embraced martyrdom.

Sanitization is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists in the area.

The ISPR, in its statement, reaffirmed Pakistan’s determination to wipe out the menace of terrorism. It said the sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
